problem with comskip GUI

Comskip works perfectly for me when called from GBPVR.

I used to use the GUI with a 'send to' to fine tune some things that I play regularly, but I haven't been able to get it to work for a while.

I have added the gbpvr to my windows paths, and it seems to find the ini, but hangs like the example below.

you can see I just updated to the latest release - but still have this problem.

Any help appreciated.

Using comskip.ini for initiation values.

What happens when you drag and drop the .txt file onto comskip.exe?

Same thing. The text above appears and nothing else.
It looks like it is trying to open the GUI window but not able.

What happens if you do not use a unc path (starting with a double \) but a mapped drive?
