I've noticed lately since upgrading to 1.2.13 that I don't get the option to Resume or Restart when I attempt to watch a show that I'd already watched some of. In particular it seems to only happen with shows I've recorded since upgrading. The ones I recorded with the previous version work fine.

In config, on the Misc tab, is Prompt for resume checked?

Can you try watching a program for a bit, then stopping, then playing again, then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log?

Possibly related is the mvp/pch server is not checking for this flag, and not updating either.

I understand you can't update with the pch while playing, but can "something" be put into the db on playback start, or playback finish so that it updates the playback position.

I dont see the MVP/PCH mentioned above, but you're right - if the video has been played on a PCH, then it wont have stored any resume information.

If Syabas implement a resume database on the PCH as the say, I will see if I can read it, it is supposed to be sqlite, and convert it to a current location to send back to GBPVR when mvpmcx2 stops playing a video.

This is currently speculation because it is not in the current beta.

I'm not actually too worried about getting acurate info from the PCH as to where it is, but it would be nice.

But if sub could update the table when the user hits the play button, or after the user has stopped, or the video has stopped (I assume he traps his own eventnotifications) and updates the playback_position table then I'd be happy cos the watched flag would show up on the recordings list....

Sorry, yes this is on the MVP. Is this a known issue? I apologize if it is. I included all of the logs that were updated when I launched this instance of GBPVR.

I haven't checked the MVP, but would assume it's similar to the Popcorn hour, so yes I think it is a known issue.
