I just wrote a post and put it in documentation:
http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post283823

Can someone tell me how I can move/shuffle the channels in the EPG so that they appear in a different order?

Cheers
Julian.

Go intio "Config" then "Channels" and then change the "Channel Number"

This might be a dumb question, but won't that mess up the channels that tuners and ir blasters try to acquire?

No. Those use the channel numbers specified in the capture source channel lists (not those on the Channels tab).

Thanks. Something wasn't making sense, so I deleted my only recording source. Now the channels tab is still displaying a handful of channels, which I think were in my previous set up (no idea how they ended up in this new installation) .. how do I get rid of them so I can start with a clean slate?

I think if you either have recordings, pending recordings or season recordings (not sure which of them) then the channels of the recordings stay in the database.

If you really want to start clean, then copy over empty.db3 onto gbpvr.db3 - you will lose your existing recordings info though.
