apparently the list of transponders (ini-files in gbpvr/bda/..) GBPVR uses for channel scanning is no up to date, at least 0192.ini (Astra 1F/1G/1H/1KR/1L) is not. GBPVR is referring to http://joshyfun.cjb.net/ which for example at present shows 78 transponders for 0192.ini whereas http://de.kingofsat.net/ shows 79 transponders.

so, perhaps users with a missing channels issue should verify their list of transponders ..Smile

this was good advise for me too:

fuzzweed Wrote:config -> capture source -> edit capture source -> recording source settings -> advanced bda settings -> tick ignore errors (i've got both ticked)

worked for me when e4 disappeared a while back. might be same problem you have.

in fact, i ticked all 4 boxes until it now finally found even the "most hidden" channels :-)

one more:

strangely, some channels are given the exact same (and wrong!) name and, thus, only one of them is listed to be mapped with epg !

for example (excerpt from scan-1.cache):
T:11719,H,27500,34~NID:133~ONID:133~TSID:3~P:220~V:767~A:768~L:deu~PMT:98~E:T~PCR:767~N:>Unknown1
T:11758,H,27500,34~NID:133~ONID:133~TSID:17~P:221~V:2047~A:2048~L:deu~PMT:97~TXT:32~E:T~PCR:2047~N:>Unknown1
T:11797,H,27500,34~NID:133~ONID:133~TSID:2~P:224~V:3071~A:3072~L:deu~PMT:98~TXT:32~E:T~PCR:3071~N:>Unknown1

>> PID 220, 221 und 224 all are named "Unknown1"

it's hard work, but i renamed all "Unknown1" channels to individuals (in file scan-1.cache), than watched and renamed again with its real names... ;-)
