PVRX2 + USB-UIRT + Hauppauge remote works OK. I'm trying to replace my plethora of remotes with the Harmony One. It works great except the direction keys scroll 3 times with one key press - it makes selecting main menu items and TV guide items impossible - it skips 3 channels up or down or 3 programmes right or left.

I've taught the Hrmony One the codes from the Hauppauge remote, and I use the PVRX2 Config app to get the USB-UIRT to read the remote signals. I've also used the Logitech database.

Help! I really wanna dump all these remotes. I thought the Harmony One was the ultimate WAF improver - so far it's just another remote...

So it's not just the Harmony - I've unplugged the USB-UIRT, switched to the Hauppauge IR receiver and the Hauppauge 45 button remote now registers 2 presses for every one. So scrolling the main menu, browsing the guide, I'm jumping 2 lines as if I've pressed it twice. I've no idea why and no idea what to do. Any help greatly appreciated.

What channel changer are you using in PVRX2? Go to the config utility, capture sources tab, and check that. What does it say?

USB-UIRT. I bought it because I couldn't get the HVR1300 blaster to work with multiple Hauppauge tuners. However, the HVR4000 IR receiver works and it is now behaving like the USB-UIRT - multiple responses to a remote key press. This only seems to be a problem with the PC - all the other kit I use (AV receiver, TV, STB) all seem to be responding normally to their own remotes as well as the Harmony One remote if correctly set up. I'm beginning to think this is a problem with Windows XP and as reluctant as I am to do it I might have to reinstall the OS from the ground up - there are a number of little niggles with it at present. This one is driving me crazy though.

I remember having some issues with the native USB-UIRT send functionality with the system... Can't remember what exactly, but the double keypress sounds somewhat familiar. I did switch to using the USBSEND.EXE file (it's a little executable that you can pass info on a command line to change channels, works with the USB-UIRT). Once I switched to that, everything went away.

If you PM me with your email address, I can send the file to you.

I ran into this problem with HIP (double key presses) and MCE IR. For that one, I had to either switch to the 'hacked' MCE IR driver or make the registry changes. Not sure for the USB-UIRT. Oh, the reason it was doing double was 'cause it would send a keystroke for 'press', and an keystroke for 'release'. Remote control toggle I think was what they called it.

I had this also but not with a ONE but with a 525 and USB UIRT
if I remember right it is the setting in logitechs software what controlled repeats of buttons pressed what needed to be adjusted.
I ran in to it then trying to get it more responsive. I didnt happend in the preconfigured setting on my remote.

Thanks - the sending is working OK. As a channel changer for my Sky STB the USB-UIRT's fine. The problem is receiving commands from the remotes.

I wondered about this but I can't find it anywhere. I don't suppose you can remember where in the Logitech software?

Any idea if that's adjustable in PVRX2, USB-UIRT or Logitech anywhere?
