Stuck at scanning for channels

Add me to list of folks that get as far as scanning for channels and not finding any.

I am trying to use a Pinnacle HD Pro Stick (800e) USB tuner to receive ATSC. I found an entry for the 800e in the list of Digital Recording Plugins that matches the BDA filters for the device (see the FilterCheck log). I'm using YAPIXML to feed the XMLTV Plugin. The data gets imported successfully and I move on to Map Digital Channels to EPG Channels. The first time through, the scan found no channels and I saw no channels previewed. So, I run Re-registerfilters and it finishes with no errors. I try the scan again and get the same results. I'd appreciate it if someone could take a look at the logs and see if they spot something I missed.

P.S. When I use the application software that came with the 800e, I get signals that average in the 80's for strength and the 70's for quality.

There is no sign of any errors in those logs, but it looks like the device never manages to lock a signal. If the software that came with it works, can see channels etc, then I'm not really sure what to suggest.

Thanks anyway, sub. I'm not going to give up on this device yet, since others seem to have made it work with GBPVR.

So, I'm back to report that all is now working. Here's what I did:
1. Reformatted the C: and reloaded XP Home (upgraded to SP3)
2. Installed the application software that came with the HD Pro Stick
3. Installed GBPVR
4. Selected HD Pro Hybrid as the capture device. Note that there are two entries in bda.ini for the 800e. The first entry doesn't match the BDA filters of my device, but the second one does. However, the logs showed that regardless of which entry I chose, it always used the filters specified in the first entry. The HD Pro Hybrid entry matches the second 800e entry, so that is why I selected it.
5. Specified the EPG feed and did an update
6. Mapped the channels. This time, the scan worked.

Did a one-hour test recording with the dvr-ms mux and the results were great considering it was an OTA channel and I'm running it on an underpowered (2.03GHz) PC. Switched to the Cyberlink mux recommended on this forum for a 5 minute test recording and it was surprisingly stutter-free.
