okay not certian if any one mentioned this before.
but this is a simple method of beable to watch dvb through your dvb card... only prerequiste is that your dvb card works with My theatre..
basically all you do is it configure my theatre timebuffer file to have the extension mpg instead of tmp (say callit dvb.mpg). set it large enough where as it does not give you any problems. also set it to delete time buffer... also for compatiblity and more stablity, build a null graph for my theatre just so that the time buffer line moves with in the program MT program.. anything conected to mt dxpin will do..( just the audio pin is fine) you can have mt start minimized)
now all you do is use your video libary select the MT timebuffer and away you go.. basically all I did for changing channels is just configure girder to control mt theater too along with gb-pvr.. and operate from my fovorite lists.. and it a basic macro that releases the timeshift file filcks back to the gb-pvr main menu then video libary and starts playing the timeshift file again once the channel changes.
it is a bit awkward but basically no different then having a reciever hooked up the video inputs of the 150 pvr .. ( the audio goes out of sync if you change the channel -- you have to return to main menu and back to regain sync.)
basically if you have a twinhan, ss1 or ss2 it will work.. I recomend version mt 2.76 ( it's free)
I sure someone with some programing skill could configure a nice skin and dll that could do all this from osd menu of gb-pvr. since my theatre also operates from a command lines.. heck it even grabs the epg fom the provider and you could display the info on the osd.. if I can recomend something, if someone makes a skin that does this, I sugest that you use an *,ini file that contains the commanline switched to control MT.. and not to be placed with in the dll . MT author has a bad habit of flip flopping all over the place when he issues a new release of MT thing tend to be different. at least people with new versions of mt could adjust so as it would still be compatible with the skin...
