I've got a Hauppauge WinTV-Nova-T 909 internal PCI card.

I'm picking up no channels, not even radio

I think i could be down to the crapy internal aereal im trying to use in a room facing away from the transmitter.

Is there any way/software that can show me what signals are being received?

You mean not picking up channels with GBPVR? Or with WinTV?

Try downloading the ScanChannelsBDA_UK utillity from here. It will let you see what your signal strengths are and stuff.

Try doing a scan in GB-PVR, then zip and attach your config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

I replace the log file from ScanChannelsBDA_UK with a picture of the log file, I think you can see everything.

I'm confused, because on the my Hauppauge box it says
WinTV-Nova-T model 909

If i try to setup the capture device in GBPVR as a Hauppauge Nova T 909
I get the following error:- "GB-PVR was unable to start the BDA device you have configured. Check the device is configured properly and not already in use (Reason: Failed to Locate configured BDA capture device)"

[Image: EA3E82AC-17A0-E0C5-757B-472657D0E631_1.jpg]

However.. if i select Only show devices connected to this machine when setting it up.. I get an option of 4 Hauppauge devices none of them the 909 model.

If i select one of these, I pick up the channels shown however again none of them actualy seem to work when you try view them.

It seems to me the 909 device isnt being properly detected by the system.

The ScanChannels detects it as Tuner - Hauppauge WinTV 88x DVB-T Tuner/Demod

Where are the GBPVR logs saved?
