GB PVR is showing black screen when i go to live tv, and freezes.

Here is the log:

20:36:02:901 - DShow ERROR ConnectToPinByName HCW MPEG Splitter Connect Failed -- There is no common media type between these pins.
20:36:02:921 - DShow ERROR ConnectPins Reader, Splitter -- There is no common media type between these pins.

I have wintv pvr 150.

What is the problem?

Those log messages arent from GB-PVR. They look like they may be from one of the hauppauge log files.

It is a Microsoft Visual C++ Debugging message saying:

<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">
Debug Assertion Failed!

Program: c:\programmer\devnz\gbpvr\gbpvrrecordingservice.exe
File: dbgdel.ccp
Line: 52

Expression: _BLOCK_TYPE_IS_VALID(pHead->nBlockUse)
[/QUOTE]

The above is the message i get from gbpvr.

You'll need to email all your log files from c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr to me at support@devnz.com

Just thought I'd pipe in and say that I'm getting the same error except I'm using the WinTV PVR-USB2

After a bit of searching I've discoverd that there are some updated drivers on the Hauppauge website that fixed the live video and the scheduling recodings...funning thing is that GB-PVR works fine, it's the Hauppauge apps that still die when I try and run them.

Here's one thunbs up for sub! His stuff works better than the manufacturers.
