(UK) BBC News 24

I can't get this channel to work, it doesn't seem to appear in a scan and if I try and entry from an old scan cache file I get a blank screen and no sound. Does anyone else have it working who can post the relevant line from a scan cache file?

It has changed its name to BBC News. As far as I know, all of the other values in scan cache are unchanged.

Something odd's happening. It's still not appearing in a scan, but if I put the entry into a cache file, I can get the little preview screen in the channel mapping bit of the config app, but it still won't work in the main program.

Hi attached the relevant line scan, but it will be different across the regions, this is for brighton. The problem is most likely to be a weak signal, its often different for various channel groupings, and if it is marginal, it can disappear in certain atmospheric conditions

I'm now pretty sure that this is down to (yet another) problem with my Blackgold card. Avoid this hardware, folks

just so that you know I have 2 different DVB-S Cards (not Blackgold) and I have exactly the same problem so it is not just the card.

My S350 doesn't scan properly with teh current version, but dvbdream (which I now use to get scan lists) found it ok a minute ago, so it's there! Do you get other channels on that transponder?

I would love a resolution for this.

Have been getting strange responses from my scans for a couple of months now. As per Jonm BBC News does not even appear.

This is with trying all available Transponder Frequencies that I can grab and use etc etc. Of interest NOT just the Blackgold card also doing it with my trusty FireDTV card and sometimes flakey Nova S Plus card.
