I've been trying to get GB-PVR to work for some time now and now that I have the free time, I'm now coming to the forum with help.
I have a Avermedia 780 card on the ATSC tuner running on a quad core system (so it meets specs). I just updated to the latest release and my problem still persists. I am able to load the EPG using yapi2xml. However, when I go to watch Live TV to test my set up, the screen just flashes and stays on the menu. If I click on the TV Guide, the window turns white and crashes. Going back into config, I see that it has unchecked the channels that were checked during set up. I used to have a separate problem with the old GBPVR.exe, but since that's gone, I won't go into it (said the EPG wasn't there when it was).
Any way to point me in the right direction?
Thank you.

White with a red X through it?

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and I'll take a look.

In my haste, I forgot one thing, the window went white after I had gone to another window, till then it kept the blank, blue skin background (but still not responding) I'm including the log, and looking through it I see what seems to be tons of divide by zero exceptions.

Do you have any enabled channels in any of your capture sources? I dont think so, and its causing this problem. You most likely didnt do the 'map digital channels to epg channels' step.

If you do have enabled channels, its most likely vista file protection getting in the way - try deleting "c:\users\<your account>\virtual\localstore\program files\devnz".

thanks, it probably is the fact that I hadn't mapped digital channels. I tried it once or twice before, and it came up with nothing. So instead of looking into it, I let it be. Once again tried it, nothing. I'll have to try different antenna locations (and different antenna) to see what works.
Thanks guys.

don't know if I should start a new post or not, I'll just continue here. After tinkering, I've found that GB-PVR won't find the digital channels. Afraid that my card was defective, I downloaded and tried the Aver MediaCenter software. It did find channels, and with pretty good strength too. While that's working, I don't like its feel and would still like to get GB PVR to work. Any ideas/known solutions that I just didn't dig deep enough to find?

Do a scan then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

A quick glance doesn't tell me what's wrong, here are the logs.
