Hi,

I'm consistently find the same channels not present whenever I scan Astra 2D. The '8350' FTA Channel 4 for one is always missing, along with most of 10733H, for which I'm only seeing 'ETV', 'BBC TES 3', and 'BBC 1 NI'.

I heard there's been a major rejigging of data streams on 2D lately to get freesat and Sky to sit together. Is anyone else getting this problem, or is my veteran Twinhan finally running out of steam?

Its probably not your Twinhan at fault. Its more likely there is something about the way the broadcasting the PSI data that GB-PVR is unable to find the channel in the stream. If someone can provide a 100MB or so full transport stream from this frequency, then I'm happy to look into it.

Gosh, that was harder than it should have been. Full TS now uploading somewhere, I'll send you the link in a PM when it's done. I did a test scan afterwards and these are still the only channels I get in the scan cache for that transponder:

A manual scan with mine using Compro s350 and dvbviewer to scan finds these.

Name=BBC 1 London (eng)
Name=BBC 1 London (NAR)
Name=BBC 2 England (eng)
Name=BBC 2 England (NAR)
Name=ETV
Name=BBC TES 3
Name=CBBC Channel (eng)
Name=CBBC Channel (NAR)
Name=CBeebies (eng)
Name=CBeebies (NAR)
Name=BBC 1 NI

Export (in their format attached).

Thanks for the file. I got the extra same scan results as you above, but as soon as I went into the advanced BDA settings and enabled the 'ignore PMT CRC errors during scan' then GB-PVR successfully finds all the channels:

Thanks for looking at this. That helps with the '8350' FTA Channel 4 at 10729V - I can reliably make it appear and disappear from the scan with that checkbox. But it seems to have no effect for 10773H. I still get the same three channels.
Is there anything else I can try?

As shown above, it seemed to work just fine for me with your 10773H stream, so I would have expected it to also work there. Maybe try the later version of the PsiParser that I'm using just on the off chance I've changed something else which helped.

EDIT: dont apply this patch. See below

Ok, that probably means my builds is no longer compatible with 1.2.13. You'll need to go back to the original file.

Ok, I shall wait. I can always edit the scan file manually for now. It may even clear up once freesat settles in a bit.
