I'm a little bit confused here..
Is it more or less the same card?

:confused:

Yes, the DVB-S2 part exposed by both are pretty much the same - they use the same chipset and drivers.

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll see if I can see anything obvious.

Here it is.. I also included the exception error text..

It seems to indicate a memory problem, so I'll probably have to do a memory scan just in case it is a hw error..

I've checked the hw memory now with memtest and they are ok.
Any ideas?

If it always occurs at the same stage of the scan, then it most likely means there is something about the data in that transponder that GB-PVR doesnt like and isnt able to parse. If thats the case, options to get past this would be either delete the transponder from the list that will be scanned, or use some other software to record a 200mb or full transport stream sample from that transponder and make it available for me on a website somewhere - and I'll run it through the debugger here.

I discovered that the same satellite (Thor/Intelsat) were on two files:

[SATTYPE]
1=3590
2=Thor 2,3 & Intelsat 10-02

[SATTYPE]
1=3592
2=Thor 2/3 & Intelsat 10-02

Downloaded a new 3592.inf from http://joshyfun.peque.org/transponders/3592.ini

But it seems like it is the transponder (12245,H,28000,56) that is causing the problem, since I can reproduce the problem. I'm now rescanning with that transponder removed.

Shall I try to tune in to this transponder with some other software and record whatever is on it? Do you want .mpg or .ts?

It'd have to be a full .ts (ie, all data from that transponder, not just a single channel recording)
