Hi, prolly should raise this over at popcorn forums since its related to native playback.

But should we be able to skip, time seek, ffwd nz dvb-t (HD) with the ac3 stream?

I'm thinking of a recorded program, not chase play or live tv....

I try ffwd, and on release it reverts to start of video, and I get the exclamation mark on timeseek button, or right dpad option that normally starts the skip for 30 seconds...

Should you be able to. Yes. Can you? No often not. Here is one of my rant's http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...6#pid55836

I am basically hoping that everyone uploads a nice 50MB sample of the station they want to work most to one of the free host web sites, passes me a link and I will compile a list for Syabas.

That seems excessive but if you don't want to make a smaller file, most of these sites will allow you to upload a multipart rar.

I'll have a look how many minutes it is, the problem is if it's too short then there's not reason to skip I guess and may give funny results...

I've found things a bit hit or miss skipping around in .ts files on the PCH.

After seeing your post I made a few more sample files from the TV1 Olypmics broadcasts, and tried a fair bit of skipping and fastforwarding, and these seem to go better than my previous experience - not sure why. I seemed to skip back/forward pretty well, and multi-speed ffwd seemed ok. Luck the draw I think...

hmm, I not sure I've had any success skipping. Maybe I should try it again... Ive got a bunch of small recordings at the moment, but purposely kept them small because I this.

Might record something bigger later on today (Triathlon might be fun!!) and see how the skipping works.

Maybe the first couple I tried were bung..

These few I tried were relative short. From memory, 3 minutes or so, about 280MB.
