Problems skipping forward and back with NMT

This weekend I upgraded to gbpvr 1.4.7 and upgraded to the most recent mvpmcx2 as well. Things seem to work fine except for skipping in videos. When I press one of the Skip keys, playback stops and it goes back to the Recordings Play, Delete, Close screen. The same when I key in a certain number of minutes to skip forward and then press skip. Any idea on what may have changed and how to get the gb-pvr preferred skip behavior back?

This may related. During the process I decided to switch to UNC file paths in my config.xml file too, recalling reading somewhere sometime ago that there were advantages to doing so - maybe performance related? I didn't search for those posts before upgrading... just did it. Is this what's causing the problem?

This thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=43597 splits on page 2 into a second problem about a bug in GBPVR which might have been introduced in 1.4.7 Without your logs I cannot tell if it is the same problem, but it sounds related.

Using a URL could have a negative performance impact, if you aren't intending to share the files you are playing, but it would also be highly recommended with WHS (if you are using it) since it is not really designed apps that write to local drives. I doubt if that is the cause of this problem.
