if you add the following 2 keywords to your question, the answer is rather clear: privacy & google
don't get me wrong, google is OK as a search engine, but i don't want 'em to have my mail, my full surfin profile (google toolbar) & definitely not my medical profile Big Grin
next they'll launch a bank & ask for our money Wink

Many people may not realize that any email through google gmail is still stored on a server somewhere after "deletion." (As likely is all email everywhere.) Any passwords or other info sent through there, just one step away from a criminal, or government. (same thing?) One of Google's main jobs is collecting info on you.

Besides, nothing beats Opera, anyway. Smile Each version is impressive, but the new version even more so.
I bet Michael Bay uses GBPVR because it's awesome:

Not on my server. My clients delete it, it's gone! Unless of course they use the webmail and don't empty the trash.

On a sidenote, I just read that when you use Opera Mini everything you do goes through an Opera-server. That server transforms all the pages you visit to a "mini" format.

I've just installed and it seems pretty much like IE or my preferred Firefox.

One nice thing is the additional real estate given to content - I'm not about to ditch firefox yet due to the privacy concerns...

I'm pleased to report the websites I've developed (all xhtml compliant) seem to load without issue - so no emergency hacks needed Big Grin

I prefer Firefox at home. At work, IE7 without question. Most vendor websites are utter crap or broken using Firefox. If this is somewhere in the middle it might get interesting. My ISP knows every website I visit anyway so...

to be honest, chrome feels like a bigger play from google than just the web browser market.. afterall, i understand that they still contribute to the mozilla project...?
if i had to guess, reckon this is google taking a shot at the O.S and MS office market share.. after all, consider the features - sandboxing tabs, task manager for your browser, gears capable, fullscreen windowing...
think they intend to replace the need for window desktop, make the OS selection irrelevant and then take over the world! Chrome is the google OS Big Grin
