Is it possible to change the aspect ratio like Media Center? There used to be 2 or 3 different zoom options in media center. I often record 16:9 tv on cable so I've tried F7 but it only stretch the images horizontaly, I would like it to strectch vertically also so the image is fullscreen on both sides.

I hope you see what I mean, I don't know how to explain it better than that.

Some of the aspect ratios given with GB-PVR's F7 key stretch both vertically and horizontally. If the modes that you're given dont contain the mode you need, you can easily add other custom aspect ratio modes to the <AspectRatioModes> section of config.xml.

Its worth noting that some aspect ratio modes are not offered if you're using the EVR or Overlay renderers, so make sure you try it with VMR9.

It works fine in VMR9 thanks. The setting I was talking about is "Remove Letterbox".

Can I change the aspect ratio (F7 Key) using a Hauppauge remote or MCE Remote?

Thanks!

With the Hauppauge remote you could edit the irremote.ini file to add the F7 key to the [PVRX2] section. For the MCE remote there is nothing built-in, but you should be able to use HIP or EventGhost or IRServerSuite to send custom keystrokes like F7.
