I have had this problem for a while and cannot see what is causing it. I have just upgraded to the new version from a fairly old one. The improvements are very obvious but this issue carries over suggesting it is a setup issue.
I have checked my channel mappings and the channel is there, I can record it when I use the EPG. I only use manual recording when my epg is not updated and there is no program information. Unfortunately the channel I need is not available in the list.
I think the issue might be related to the EPG. A while ago I changed the epg I use and as a result I rescanned and remapped the channels. During this process I recall ending up with the new channels and the old channels, basically all channels were duplicated in my scanned and mapping lists. Some how I removed the duplicates but I am not sure how. I am not even sure I removed the channels scanned from the old epg or the new one.
Not sure if I have just got some kind of confused database of channels. Anyone have a similar problem and find the answer I would appreciate the help.
thanks
