*tongue-in-cheek* I think most TVs already come with a remote. :p

On a more serious note, you can buy the remote later. You'd need to get a media center or universal/programmable remote, though.

Better is pretty subjective.

I bought a TV tuner MCE bundle. Price wasn't that much higher than a TV tuner card without remote, and at least I get an IR receiver included. Eventually planning on replacing the MCE remote with a Logitech Harmony 550 once it drops back to $50, but for now, it works quite well.

RF, huh? There are but your choices are limited and more pricey than regular IR remotes. If you only need the remote for your PC and hence, don't need IR, I think you can get an RF remote for under $50. I'm not really one for RF remotes since I barely get any wifi signal on my laptop as it is. If you need it to control your TV, too, then it can range from $80 (combo IR/RF remote) to $500 (Harmony 1000).

you don't tune the remote into your card, you would use HIP or EventGhost or IRserver suite (my current favourite) to control the gbpvr which in turn controls the card. Some remotes are supported natively as well.

I don't know if the Kworld remote is supported by GB-PVR internally or if you need to get an external program to control it, but you should be able to get it to work eventually.

I am unsure if that card is supported at all.

Tbh I am finding your posts somewhat confusing. I reccomend spending sometime reading through the wiki, although I am probably just being cranky today
