GBPVR use to scan my clear qam channels completely fine until a few months ago. Now it skips past them, but I just never changed the mapping so I did not have a problem.

Well I just tried to fix another issue with GBPVR and all my settings were gone, I tried a system restore and still could not get back to what I needed. So now I have no other option than to reinstall GBPVR and reconfigure my cards and settings. The only problem is it is not picking up those HD channels I was watching this morning with GBPVR.

I am sure they are kind of weak in strength so that may have something to do with it.

Thanks for any help.

Do a scan, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log, and I'll take a look.

Here it is. I had multiples of each. Like config.exe-2.log so I just sent the one without the numbers. It looked like the times and dates were most accurate as well.

It wasnt clear from your post whether it was now finding no channels, or only some channels. I can see in your logs that its finding some channels. What are some of those frequencies you'd expect to find channels but arent?

Have you applied whurlstons alternative qam.ini files in the past install?

Sorry I thought I wasa clear. It does find some frequencies, but not the ones I need. About two or three months ago it stopped finding the ones I actually use which are like 68.11 or something in that range. It always had them in the history where I had mapped them before so it still worked fine, but would just SKIP over those frecuencies. It would find others but not those.

So same thing today. It found others, but not those and now there is no history in the mappings to go back to.

Also I have never used or heard of whurlstons or used it. I have never had to.

I'd guess its either a signal strength issue, or its not scanning the right frequency. For latter you could try replacing your qam.ini files with some of these alternative files to see if it finds them: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...stcount=25

Which qam.ini? The one in the HVR-1600 folder or one of the other ones in different folders?

Well the first time I tried one of the whurlston files in my HV-1600 folder it crashed about half way through.

Is there not a way to manually put in those frecuencies or something. GBPVR has not been able to scan them lately, but it has had no problems displaying them perfect for the past 3 months?

In the .\BDA\ATSC folder, not the one in the HVR1600 folder.

Did you apply the patch from the survival guide thread?
