Anyone able to get the Xcard Remote to working?

I have been trying to get the X-card remote working with GB-PVR for over a moth now with no luck. I've tried using girder but the remote seems to need some software assistance to get the IR reciever, either that or I am just seriously missing some settings somewhere. If anyone has been able to get the x-card remote to work PLEASE let me know. I had previously been using Jovehost, but when they changed to TVedia the $60 price tag became WAY too high and I am trying to find an alternative.

Sorry, but I dont directly support the XCard remote, so you'll need to find a way to get girder or some other third party utility to send keystrokes to GB-PVR. That said, I dont really think the remote that good, and its missing important buttons like the color button (red/green/blue/yellow).

I knew that you didn't directly support the card. Is there a reason why? If you just need a card to play around with to get the support up and running I might be able to get you one for really cheap from a friend who bought one but NEVER uses it.

That aside I was hoping that someone has been able to get the remote working. GB-PVR is the perfect software for me its just that one thing that I'm having trouble with.

I just really dont like the remote, so decided it wasnt worth investing the time required to get it going. Sorry.
