Trouble installing latest version

I’m new to gbpvr and was recently recommended it by a friend. Using the link in the latest announcements thread I downloaded the latest version, the problem is it won’t install, when I run it I get the following message:

“This installation package could not be opened. Contact the vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows installer package"

I’ve done some trouble shooting but can’t solve it, I’ve updated to the latest version of installer and made sure it’s running, installed .net 3.5, installed Microsoft run time from the link.
I’m running Windows Vista premium and have no previous versions of gbpvr installed.
I really want to install it to run with my Hauppauge MVP. Am I missing something? Any ideas?

I just tried an install on a clean machine and it went fine.

I suspect something went wrong with your download.
