Ok I know that's vague. I am having a problem and I'm not quite sure where to look for it. I think it started about a week ago. I have a bunch of recordings scheduled, mostly seasons but not all, and they show up in my pending recordings but they're not recording. I don't know where they went I just show up to look for them and they're not there. I'm not sure where to look to trouble shoot this either. Any ideas?

program files\devnz\gbpvr\logs

gbpvrrecordingService.log Bundle these into a zip file and the gbpvrrecordingService-Native logs up and post them into the thread. And someone and maybe sub will have a look.

i'm just adding all of them just in case there's something going on somewhere else. I checked it today and it happened again about an hour before two recordings were supposed to start they just disappeared. One was at 8pm and one at 9pm so i manually reentered the one at 9pm and the guiide highlighted it like it should but when 9pm rolled around it was just gone.

The first thing I'd try is changing the time you've set it to do the EPG. Its best to do it at some off peak time, rather than the middle of primetime when your machine is most likely to be recording.

Sub,

was there anything in particular that made you think of that? Did it look like it was trying to update the epg at a different time then 2am?

I think I was just mistaken by TV Guide reloading its guide from the database, which can kind of look like EPG update log messages.

What about the original problem? Any suggestions or ideas why it's been doing that?

I have noticed a condition where a card says its recording but it isn't. You have several sources. Are you sure they are all working? One might be giving you live TV but one (some) of the others might be firing blanks.
