Don't think it's happening too often, but the wife is starting to complain she needs to restart the pch as it's playing a video and then gets a blank screen. Nothing on the remote gets it out until you pull the plug.

I've only noticed it since I upgrade to the new firmware.

Logs attached. Can A100 firmwares be downgraded?

I had the same problem yesterday. I couldn't telnet the PCH either. It was a file that was being recorded while I was watching it. No logs unfortunately.

I mentioned it on this post from an MP user

http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=10480

I am likely going to need a sample that crashed if it is reproducible on the same file.

@psycik there is no problem downgrading

I am using the file share mode and am on my 5th straight hour of watching and no hangs here.

I have also watched heavily over the last few days as well with no such hangs....perhaps that will help narrow it down to something in the HTTP transfer.....

UJB, that version of mvpmcx2 still hasn't been released but I am glad it works Smile I think the problem is related to specific ts file problems and not general problems. The poster on the NMT forums indicated it was smb or http (myihome)

psycik I'm not sure if it helped but I duplicated the errors in your logs by disconnecting my pch for a few seconds while the movie played and then plugging it back in. After the video buffer ran out, I got the black screen no telnet etc. However I found that I could still hit the power off at this point which allowed the NMT software to restart, as did telnet. etc in about 30 seconds.

So network issues you think mvallevand?? Like a disconnect in network connectivity?

Your logs definitely showed a GBPVR forced disconnect one minute after the 10 second heartbeats stopped. I would be interested in knowing if the remote power off fixes the problem at that point.

I've just tested the same file again and walked away from the tv. Looked on it now and saw it back at the PCH Media Source screen.

I'll lkook at the gbpvr recording service logs, and then I might split that file into chunks. Hopefully there's one chunk that's busted.

Do you have those logs? I'd like to see what GBPVR sees.
