Since upgrading to 1.3.7 I have found that the second scheduled recording in back to back recordings using multi recording creates a 0 byte size file. Logs seem to indicate everything is working, but nothing is recorded. Anyone else having a similar problem?

Hasso

This happened again last night. Back to back recording of Coronation Street (ok, don't laugh.. it's for my wife really) at 7:30 followed by by Criminal Minds at 8:30, both on TV1 (same multiplex) with 5 minutes of post and prepadding. At 8:30, Coronation Street was recording fine, Criminal Minds which should already have 5 minutes, showed zero file size. Cancelling the recording of Criminal Minds and then starting the recording again worked. This is using the multi record option. CSI Miami on TV3 (different multiplex) at 8:30 recorded fine.

Could it be that I need to cancel all the pending recordings scheduled before the upgrade and set them up again? It looks like the new release may not be handling already scheduled recordings properly if they are backtoback and on the same multiplex?
Regards,
Hasso

yeah i was getting this you need to move any scheduled recordings and reenter them
there is probably a better way
but what happens is if the recordings were already scheuled before you changed to multi record they try to use the tuner that is already allocated on another mux

edit read your last line yes this is what is happening since i canceled mine and re added them i havent had one 0kb file

another thing i have done is to only enable channels for tvnz on one tuner and tv3 etc on the other to make sure it doesnt try to schedule channels on the wrong mux

Tonight will be he acid test, I've just rescheduled the TV3 program and the other one is shorty st.
