Sub, I know this has been reported before, but I canceled a show about 4 hours before it was scheduled to record, but it still recorded. The entry was deleted from the schedule database, but the Recording Service must still have had a cache of it. It looks like that cache isn't getting reloaded correctly after a recording has been canceled.

I've not seen that myself. The recording schedule is reloaded every few minutes (or when the client tells it the data has changed).

Sub, sent you a copy of the log file showing this problem happening. Frasier isn't in the list of recordings, Battlestar Galactica was recording, and then GBPVR stopped it and start recording Frasier. So I only got the first half hour of Galatica (re-scheduled it for a later date and time so i can get the whole thing). Again, I think something is getting cached and not getting cleaned out somewhere in the recording service.

Workaround is Restart Recording Service, but of course you can't do that while it's recording.

I had this happen to me once to. I had cancelled the recording using my video archive plug-in rather than the built-in recordings plug-in. I assummed that this was in same way the cause, which is why I did not bother to report it as a potential problem in GBPVR itself.

I used the Web Admin that came with GBPVR (didn't make any changes to this section of code). Maybe there is some event that needs to be thrown or message that needs to be sent. But really, if it's deleted from the database, and the recording service polls the database to get the list, it should get refreshed from there.
