xrecord still work with 1.3.7?

I have been hooked on Xrecord since I first used GBPVR years ago. I just installed 1.3.7 on my computer upstairs and noticed I get an illegal exception or some other error in PVRX2. I tried using the default blue theme and community skin with no luck.

Does Xsuite / Xrecord still work with 1.3.7 or do I have some other problem unrelated to 1.3.7?

I use it (one of my fave old faithfuls) on 1.3.7. with no problem. This is via an MVP.

I had some problems as well when I upgraded to the newer version of GBPVR. What I did was run the xrecord-uninstall.exe file that is in the Program Files\devnz\gbpvr folder. If it's not there, then install the XSuite beta and it will put the xrecord-uninstall.exe file in there. Once it's there, run it and let it go through.

Then delete any instances of these 3 files (you will likely have to stop the recording service):
FastFindPlugin.dll
Guide2J.dll
recordPlugin.dll

Then open up config.xml and make sure there isn't anything to do with xrecord. If there is, remove those sections. Make sure to use something like Textpad so as to not change the format of the xml file.

Once this is all done, then go ahead and install the XSuite beta and hopefully you will be fine.
