I installed GBPVR on Vista 64bit and configured it just as i did with Vista 32bit that i had previously installed.
Everything works even mediaMVP and EPG. Except i get static instead of TV.
I did the remap thing in the registry TS0-1. But that doesnt help.
I get TV in MCE and i can record in MCE.
So i just dont get it why i cant get TV in gbpvr. Am i missing something?

If someone has ideas about it let me know

Do you see your channels when you run the tuning assistant?

yes i do but there strange.
Because the channels the tuning assistant show are higher then what my provider uses.
It found 42 channels with frequencies. But these frequencies arent the ones that i got from my provider.
I think its the Europe problem with Tuning Assistant

There is no problem with tuning assistant (or GB-PVR), its just showing you the channels it finds a signals on. The channels it scans are based on the tuning tables embedded in Windows. GB-PVR just askes windows for the min and max channel numbers for your combination of country and tuning type, then tells windows to tune to each and check for a signal.

The netherlands has always had pretty screwy tuning tables in windows, which is why people from there often end up trying to tweak the tuning tables (TS0-1 etc).

You can enter the frequencies next to each channel name in your capture source channel list.

I got the channel numbers in the capture source channel list. And i did the ramapping in the registry. This is how i got it to work with GB-PVR under the 32bit version.

So do i put the frequencies or the channel numbers in the capture source channel list?

It just gets better and better. No really Big Grin

I put the frequncies from my provider in source channel list. Then i tried the tv function and it worked nicly. Then i started pvrx2 again and it became choppy, so i rebooted and the tv was better again except that the sound was gone, but thats another problem.

Thanks for the help and if you could give me a hint where to search for this problem....

I keep correcting myself.
After re-registring the filters the sound was back to.

So it all functions now, time to watch some TV Big Grin
