Hi...

Thinking of getting those cheap no brand USB DVB-T tuners to play.

cheap no brand USB DVB-T tuners = abt USD$15, no brand, no proper website to download proper drivers, etc...

Wonder what is the chances for this kind of tuners to work in GBPVR?
Or GBPVR will work with all kinds of DVB-T devices?

Thank you!

If they have reliable BDA drivers, then there is a good chance it'll work.

In general its recommended people stick with common well support devices though, like those made by Hauppauge, since its more likely we'll be able to solve any problems that popup.

Hello,
my tuner is a Genesyslogic DVT device and I live in Senegal. This model and country doesn't appear in your GBPVR Tuning assistant list, how do I set it up?
Can I use a tuner in Senegal, West Africa?
Thank you.

The analog side wont be compatible with GB-PVR due to the lack of hardware MPEG2 encoder, but its probably usable for DVB-T. Run the filtercheck.exe utility, then zip and attach the filtercheck.log and I'll take a look.
