Pending recordings

I'm playing with addreoccurring and must have entered too generic of a string. I now have a ton of scheduled recordings, is there any way to clear all without going through each one?

not really. You can wait till they expire or if you have access you can open the mdb. Perhaps clearing the epg and reimporting it might work as well.

Cool! I manually deleted them but it took a while. I do have a question regarding my screwup, should there be a CR/LF at the end of the list? I have had problems in the past under different OS's where if the last line doesn't have a CR/LF the last line won't execute so I always put one in. It looks like it just added stuff willynilly and I'm wondering if it matched on a null or space. The only things I wanted to match was:

It's been a while since I looked at that code (originally wrote it), but it will search through the episode guide and check to see if the terms you put in the Reoccuring.txt file show up in either the Title or the Description.

The one that is probably getting you is Cheers. If the word Cheers shows up anywhere in the recording, it will find that item and schedule it no matter what channel it appears.

A better option might be to use the External Recording Manager to go through and manage these recordings. You will have a lot more control over this type of stuff. Really the best use for the AddReOccuring is to look for shows by a certain Actor or person. I.e. if you wanted to record any episode that had Sylvester Stallone in it.

For the list you provided it is better to use the built in Season scheduler or the External Recording Manager.
