"1.3.11 Config" hangs during the scan for new channels

During the previous release you told me to write you if I had the same problem with the new one....well, things are going worse !
With the previous release the config could find only 5-7 dbvt channels instead of the about 60 that the relaese 0.9xx was used to find. Now , with 1.3.11 the config hangs and Windows XP shows me the well known error note.

Is you specific country/region listed in the DVB-T card setup screen? or do you have to choose 'All Countries/All Regions'?

Do you have any of the checkboxes ticked in the "Config -> Capture Source setting -> Digital Capture Plugin settings -> advanced BDA settings"?

1) Yes, I selected 'All Countries/All Regions'

2) in the "Config -> Capture Source setting -> Digital Capture Plugin settings -> advanced BDA settings" i tiched "Ignore PMT CRC errors during scan".

I've tried several times to do the scan and the config got till the end one times on 10 but it can find only 5-6 channels and if select one of them, the small display shows nothing (just sound) or it, more often, hangs.

Untick both of those settings and try again.

1) I unticked the "Config -> Capture Source setting -> Digital Capture Plugin settings -> advanced BDA settings" i tiched "Ignore PMT CRC errors during scan".
2) I don't know what you mean with "untick" the "all regions/all channel". I live in Italy and there isn't any Italy option. In the past "all regions" worked well for me so I decided to try it again first, and changing after.

Results:
nothing changed :mad:
Sometime, as I just told you it gets to the end but it find out few channels and if I select one of them the program hangs.

Any idea?

I forgot to tell you that I have a Hauppage Nova-T 500: maybe other user could have te same results.

I hacked the config.xml this way:
<BDAAutoScan166KHzOffset>false</BDAAutoScan166KHzOffset>
<BDASubmitTuningRequestTwiceOnLivePreview>true</BDASubmitTuningRequestTwiceOnLivePreview>
<BDAIgnoreHiddenChannels>false</BDAIgnoreHiddenChannels>
But I think that only the last two are usefull

Now config finds out a lot of program and I can whatch them at the little screen on the right.

But config hangs yet :mad:
