Blasted MOV files

What do you guys do with your digicam mov files? As is they play in GBPVR on the computer but, even after converting them to mpv using Quick Media Converter they won't play on the PCH.
C2Duo E8400, 4GB, GE8600GT, PCH A-100, HVR2200, NPVR 1.5.31, Win 7 x64.

mov files are containers which isn't the problem. What you are probably looking at are problems with mjpeg video.
I have this bookmarked http://mp4cam2avi.sourceforge.net/index.htm in case I ever needed it, but I haven't tried it. Martin

Thanks, Martin. I think I have found a very good freeware converter called 'Quick Media Converter' here http://www.cocoonsoftware.com/index.php?...e&Itemid=1
Well worth a look. I am converting my jpeg mov cam files directly to mpeg 'DVD' format.
