Missing Channels

Hi guys i have a Nova-T DVB-t card installed and can find an array of channels to watch and really like this software. Hiowever i have tried other software and that finds more channels than this software does, is there any way to get these extra channels added?

What channels are missing, and were those channels broadcasting at the time you did the scan?

film4, 4 music, uk tv history, virgin1, itv2 dave+1.

Did a search on media portal then did the search on GB-pvr so should be live

I'm not sure if these are part time channels or not, but GB-PVR will only scan for channels actually broadcasting at the time. Some apps will include channels even if they're not broadcasting at the time, so comparing with another app may not get you the same results. For its purposes GB-PVR needs to collect a bit of information that is only included in live channels, which is why this happens.

If these are broadcasting, then its possible the frequencies scanned for the region you selected do not match the real frequencies - try 'all countries / all regions' instead of a specific region.

these are definitely broadcasting as we speak as i am watching them on the other program i downloaded. i have chanegd the options to all countries to no avail. anything else at all?

Do a scan, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look. Also check in one these others that are working to find the frequency of these channels so I know where to check in the log.

hi there 2 log files and a creen shot showing frequency information of virgin1 which works on the other program but doesnt get picked up in gb-pvr

I can see it found channels on that frequency, but didnt manage to get all the info it needed. Maybe try increasing the <BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds> setting in config.xml.

changed that option rebooted the pc did a scan and still the same.

anythign else?
