Recording button PCH

Hi,

I can't seem to find the recording button on my PCH remote. Is there a button I can use that has the same functionality? I'd really like to be able to schedule a quick recording with just one push of a button.

If I remember correctly, in its most useful form on the MVP it pops up and OSD during livetv which would cause a problem. Sub would have to accept this as a a quick record to make it work.

I dont think Sheik is talking about over live tv etc. He just wants to be able to press the 'record' button while a show is highlighted in the tv guide and have it do a 'quick record' like it does on the MVP. You should be able to add this by sending through the same keycode for the record key as mvpmc does.

Okay that is easy enough, I won't send the key while media is playing. What key do you suggest nothing looks took logical except matbe the camera on angle?

I'm not really sure. I guess angle is as good as any of those other available keys at the bottom left. Sheik might have a preference.

"Delete" - not particularly logical, but in a useful place. What else is there. Hard to remember remote when not looking at it.

Hmm now that I see the picture, yes probably angle.

In this update the Angle key sends the Record key value back to GB-PVR
