CommunitySkin 4.0.0 (pre-release) download links are now live. Both SD & HD Editions are available.

This will be the last release before it goes fully public and is moved to the Skin area of the wiki. All comments, bug reports and suggestions welcome.

note: it's probably best to un-install any previous CS4 BETA version before installing this one.

Just installed the HD skin on my laptop client. The install was effortless with no problems to report. I made some changes in the skin plugin and the only thing I noticed was the skin plugin ran VERY slow on items with large preview images (I thought it had gone unresponsive but ~20-30 seconds later the selection would move).
Looks Great! Thanks for all of your time and effort!

Downloaded and installed SD with no problem (no HD here ). Messed around with the plugin with no problem. I also see long lag times in the plugin when loading large preview images (on my old laptop). Thanks for the transparent normal list item. Only a few items to report.

- Skin Plugin>Graphics>Control Icons, does not allow selection under the various colors.

- Skin Plugin>Text, lists 'TV Guide Text Size' twice

- I select transparent List Buttons, but I still see text background graphic where the buttons would be.

- I can't get Navigational Indicators to show. Actually, I'm not clear on the difference between List Buttons and Nav Indicators, usage and placement.

Looking good guys just got the HD version. I can confirm the slowness when making changes in the plugin. Key presses take about 5 or more secs to register when trying to change something. Also the Videos Library plugin doesn't have any metadata still, is it still a WIP?

I seem to have a problem with the skin plugin. Say I choose 'transparent' text background, and apply the change, I get transparent text background.

Now, go back to text background selection, and the default is glossy>clear*. If I select glossy>clear*, the change does not get picked up (no * added to Text Backround menu item), and the change does not get applied. If I select a non-default item, the change gets picked up and applied.

In other words, after applying a non default item, I can not select and apply the original default item. This happens on buttons as well.

Have you gone into the layout section of the skin plugin? I don't believe metadata is in the default mode.

I have and it changes it for the built in video library but not the plugin video library thats being developed. Hope that makes sense?

tried HD version out on client laptop - installed without problem and looks stunning

One very minor observation: test for OSD doesn;t quite fix box. see pix

Also I noticed that if you go into layout, main menu

a) it goes really slow
b) if you select right layout, it changes to right layout but... if you try and change it to left again, it doesn;t work.

Not quite sure what you mean by this. Screenshot?

They're pretty much the same thing. The list buttons are used when the Up/Down arrows are ment to be clickable. I think the majority of screens and plugins use the List Buttons gaphics. Can you confirm this fatmando?
