Hoping the experience on the forum can guide me on this one...
GBPVR works just fine most of the time but on long (2-3+ hr) recordings the recording file is screwed up - this seeems to happen most but not all the time.
Symptoms include:
- recording duration shows as >24hrs in duration when playing it although the recording period was say 3 hrs (plus padding)
- playing the file through vlc shows the first 30 or so minutes are ok but it can't play the file beyond that.
- when trying to skip forward in playback within GBPVR it causes GBPVR to go unresponsive and sit there eating large amount of cpu.

Spec is GBPVR 1.3.11, Athalon X2, 4GB RAM, Nova-T500 dual tuner card , ATI Mux - not sure what else would be useful.

TIA
Stuart

If you leave it playing in GB-PVR, without skipping, does it play past this point?

No - once you get to the affected part it stalls playing back normally in GB-PVR (audio drops first followed by video a second or two later).
The counter at the top of the screen during playback is also very odd - advances at normal rate when playing but if you skip forward (1minute) it equates to around 6 seconds and back (30 seconds) is about 3 seconds of video - hence a ~3hrs recording is showing as 26hrs at the top of the screen.

Thx

To be honest, I dont know. I've not seen that here.

Maybe as a first step try a different mux.

Thanks - will change the mux and do some tests.
Will revert with any useful results.
Thx
