When I delete the first recording in the recordings plugin (ready), the screen doesn't get a full update, making the new screen unreadable. I've only tried it on my PCH, I don't know if the PC client uses incremental updates. Like I said, it only happens with the first item in the list.

I'm out of the country for the next few weeks, but if you remind me after that, I'll check the cause for you and fix it.

Well, here's the reminder. Recent experiences lead me to believe it's more random than I stated in my first post. To be honest, I can't find a pattern, so I hope you can find the cause in you coding.

I had a go at reproducing this today, but didnt see the problem here. If you've got a digital camera, can you take a photo so I can see what it looks like?

Here's a couple.

- start up and hit the Picture hot key.
- hot key between libraries and the Title might not change

Sorry for the blurry picture, but it should give you an idea of the problem. As you can see a part of the popup rectangle is still visible. Sometimes it's worse than this.

Here's an ugly (or fun I guess if you are creative)

Go into the Picture Library and on the first image you select hit the arrow to rotate the picture. Other artificats are left as you go through a slide show and rotae the images.

Unfortunately the PVRX2.exe API used for screen updates wasnt designed with incremental screen updates in mind, so the app doesnt typically know which areas of the screen have changed (and I didnt want to slow down the app by comparing each and every pixel each time the user presses a button). The scheme I came up with works pretty well, but is definitely not flawless.

This specific picture library problem is fixed for the next build.

Can you remind me what the hot keys are on the PCH remote? I'll check this and fix it too.

Here's a work in progress file I was working on for whoever is going to write the wiki or use the lircd with the Hauppauge remote.
