Does anyone have one of these?

I'm having a few issues with this- quite often, it will fail to find a signal, after scolling around the channels for a while, it will suddenly pick up and work fine. I have a funny feeling that it seems to get stuck on Horizontal vs Vertical polarisation.

In addition, I don't seem to be able to get Diseqc switching to work. I might post some logs if fiddling doesn't work- I also think I need to relax the BDA settings to give the hardware time to work, but I don't know which to change. There used to be a bda_timeout option which could be used to slow things down for slower USB hardware, but this doesn't seem to be in the config.xml any more.

Any help greatfully received- I was forced into USB hardware because I have no space left in my Shuttle.

It may not be your problem, but it is important that this device has a terminator on the LNB out, otherwise you can have polarity problems.

Thanks sub.

The terminator is on and then I used the thing to pass the signal through to my only annalogue box.

However, now the power supply seems to have died!

So, I had one that started off barely working, then slowly died and now the replacement one started off close to fine, but gradually curled up.

I think that I will ask them to send another Nova S+ instead.
I have a PC in mind (with more free slots) to replace the shuttle.
