Found this - lists US shows that will (and won't) be coming back this fall.

Can't find it now but I read somewhere that the SciFi Channel was looking at picking it up. I doubt they would since the ratings tanked shortly after it started but if the new movie does well, there might be a reason to rethink that.

only reason ratings tanked was probably when the show was aired.
a lot of people in the tech community seem to like that show, so if scifi picks it up (fingers crossed) im sure it would do well.

More of my favourite shows were kept than I thought. Normally anything I like is not considered successful enough to be renewed.

I'm amazed Dollhouse is coming back. 1) It's an incredible show. 2) it's on Fox. 3) it has fairly strong ties to Joss (what, with it being his and all). That's the frakking hat trick of a one season show.

I read that one of the producers said it was too expensive for any cable channel as-is, so if they did pick it up, they'd be looking for budget cuts. Even so, I'd love to see it come back. And I finally have cable, so I could actually watch it on scifi.

Googled it:
Quote:Says Josh, "It's not an expensive show. It's very average in terms of its costs, but it's more expensive than all cable shows. There are limited places for a show like this, I think." What about a comic? Josh says, "Everyone wants to plan for success and hope that it works out that way, and then if it doesn't, we'll see what happens."

Sounds like I am going to have to check out Dollhouse, I haven't watched even one episode.

So you who watch Dollhouse be honest. Is the story line good or are you just watching for the hotties? I liked the commercials I saw but passed on it. Now I'm thinking since the US summer tv sucks, maybe I'll give it a try.
I wish they'd decide when Dr. Who and Torchwood was going to air in the Isles. Short season but looking forward to them.
