Weird thing started the other day - when I watch recorded programs, they all of a sudden speed up. I think this is happening while recording, because if I view the recorded program with Windows Media Player, I get the same results. Any ideas?

try playing in vlc or media player classic if it plays fine in them then at least that rules out the recording
if it does play fine then try changing your decoder and also the audio renderer/decoder
windows media player uses the same direct show filters as gbpvr hence the reason i say try vlc or media player classic because they have there own decoders

Thanks for the reply - and sorry for the delay (have been dealing with family issues...)

I played a file that exhibited the problem in GBPVR using VLC Media Player and had similar results - so that does point to the recording. What do you think I should I do?

Thanks again -

One of the menu options in VLC gives you a count of frame errors in the file. I'd start by seeing if you have lots of errors. If you do you have to strengthen your signal.
