Anyway of getting the Prime EPG from the satellite for use on analog without having to "enable" the encrypted Sky TV channel which, not being a subscriber, I can't watch? Right now I get the EPG for all channels from DVB-S, but for Prime I need to go to a separate source.
Regards,
Hasso

I use sub's DvbToXMLTV.exe & I know that's what sub uses as well, do a search for it on the forums Jonnycam uploaded a copy fairly recently.

As Jaggy says, DVB2XMLTV works a treat. I use it for this exact reason. I did have to update some of the settings recently tho due to Sky changing things around.

Thanks. I forgot about DVB2XMLTV... always thought it needed an Internet connection, but of course it doesn't.

hmm funny you should say that, I got him to use that at the start and it never seemed to work. Is the format funny?

Was using the freeview one however.

It worked last time I tried it. Its been several months since I've tried it though.

You can just set the xmltv filename 'http://epg.pvr.geek.nz/epg/listings-sky.xml.gz' and not have to worry about downloading/gunzipping etc.

Using the sky listing I find my recording double, even triple up (with 2 failed after a record). My TV Guide seems to have multiple entries for some programs, even the program description can be slightly different with 2 or 3 presses of the sideway button to move to the next program. Using the Freeview one everything is perfect. Very strange so I stopped using it...
