Hi Everyone,

I'm new to GB-PVR, so far it looks great. So great work Sub and other contributors.

I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction with regards to sorting out EPG listings for Australia and/or Sydney if possible (freeview channels, DVB-T).

Is anyone using xmltv listings for freeview? Or just DVB EPG?

Thanks!

I am on the SOuth Coast and find that the Broadcast EPG is more accurate than the xml alternatives. I have had one or two days in the past 6 months where channel 7 EPG has dissapeared for about 12 hours, but other than the broadcast EPG has been accurate and stable.

Thanks gf404 for helping me down the right path.. I was pretty lost trying to track down all the bits to get the xml working!

Now i've got the broadcast EPG working.. looks great with plenty of advanced programming in the guides. Big Grin

I'll have a crack at updating the Wiki for Aus setup.. thanks again

Its up to the broadcaster to decide how far the listings go. In New Zealand they transmit about 8 days on the Freeview DVB-S system, but only the now/next shows on Freeview DVB-T. Some countries overseas transmit a week, some transmit a couple of days, some only transmit 24 hours, etc.
