I installed a fresh copy of XP SP3 and the latest version of GbPVR. I went through and did the setup, I have a dvico HDTV5 RT Lite card. It went through and found all my aerial digital channels. But when I run GbPVR when I lick on Live TV, or TV Guide, nothing happens. I know the tuner card is working because I can open it with the Dvico software. Thanks, Im new to this!

Try live tv then post the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log and I'll see if anything stands out.

zip the files, then use the little paperclip icon to attach them (on the Go Avanced reply button below).

Quote:2009-07-18 12:50:23.718 VERBOSE [1] GBPVR.Backend.Common.GbpvrException: No channels have been set up. Please run the Configuration utility and setup the EPG source. Use the 'Update EPG' button to force the system to import the latest set of channel and programme information.
Sounds like you didnt map your channels in the 'map digital channels to epg channels' screen. When you go back into that screen, the channels need to be enabled, and you need to click the tuning request column for each channel you want to map (and select the channel it maps to).

Yea, I missed the tuning request column. Now TV guide works, but I still cant watch TV. I went through and rescanned the channels just to make sure. It still wont let me watch TV. I have reattached the new logs, if you have time to look again.... thanks!

you have sub's attention, which is the best help to get around here, but on the other hand I think it's nighty-night time for him so I'll give it a try.

for every attempt to watch TV, you get this:

Code:
2009-07-18 13:32:37.562    VERBOSE    [1]    PreviewLiveTV(4)
2009-07-18 13:32:37.671    VERBOSE    [1]    PreviewLiveTV() done

That makes me think there's something odd about your tuning requests. Did you select the tuning requests from the drop-down box on the 'Map digital channels to EPG' screen?

this wiki page is what you want to be following: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Confi...HDTVSource
in particular, the instructions below the third screenshot

if you did do that as described, then try watching live TV again and attach all the logs (in particular I want to see the recording service and recording service-native logs)

Yes, your tuning requests are screwy, like you've tried manually typing them. (for example on is "T:3", when it should be something like "T:15,0,0~P:1~TSID:1523~V:49~A:52~PMT:48~PCR:49~N:>6.1 WLNS-DT (000(AC3))")

I'd delete your gbpvr.db3 file, then run the config app and try to setup your capture source again.
