Hi, I have an ASUS U3000 Mini USB card. The drivers and TV signal seem to be okay, because I got to see some BBC news in the little preview window while I was setting up EGB. When I click on Live TV in the GBPVR executable, it just redisplays the menu, instead of playing a channel. It doesn't show an error message, so I don't know what to do next. Any ideas please?

Quote:2009-08-21 19:44:13.399 VERBOSE [1] GBPVR.Backend.Common.GbpvrException: No channels have been set up. Please run the Configuration utility and setup the EPG source. Use the 'Update EPG' button to force the system to import the latest set of channel and programme information.
It looks like you didnt map any channels when you did the 'map digital channels to epg channels' step. You need to click on the tuning request column for each channel to choose the mapping.

First time round, no channels showed up in the Channels groupbox on the Edit Recording Source window. Next time I got a list of channels. I didn't see a Tuning Request column, but there was a column labelled Enabled, so I ticked a few channels there. Live TV still didn't work so I tried again. Third time round, the Tuning Request column was there (are these missing UI elements a common symptom on Vista 64?), so I dutifully clicked on it for each channel (although it doesn't seem to 'afford' clicks, as they say - was I supposed to do something else after I clicked?).

Still no luck with live TV. As before, nothing happens. I'd be grateful for any further assistance.

You still dont have any channels set up. It could be vista getting in the way. Try deleting the "C:\Users\<your account>\AppData\Local\Virtual Store\Program Files\Devnz" directory.

I deleted the folder you described and tried Live TV again, and it's working. Thanks very much for your help, sub.
