WizMetadataGrabber standalone?

Can WizMetadataGrabber be used standalone - i.e. on a machine where gbpvr is not installed? I do most of my file maintaining on a seperate system from my pvr system, and it would be nice to use this utility on my 'work' system. Is there perhaps a dll or two that could be copied from the main gbpvr intall into a standalone WizMetadataGrabber folder to get it working on it's own?

The short answer is yes. It is dependent on several DLLs though, so it may take some work to figure out all the dependencies (I am on the road atm, and not able to determine what they are).

You might trying installing on your other machine, when there is a missing DLL, the program will most likely abort with an error message indicating what DLL is missing. Copy that DLL over to the same directory as the executable (on your standalone machine). Repeat until all DLLs are found. If that does not work, bump this thread in about a week (when I am back home), and I'll try to determine what all the dependencies are.

It's freeware that checks for all the dependencies of an executable file. Here is the web site: http://www.dependencywalker.com/

I've never used this particular version, but have used this program in the past to easily solve dependency issues.

I tried to make the program pretty much standalone without GBPVR, but unfortunately, some of the thumbnail logic depends on GBPVR DLLs. I could change this, but it might break several other plugins that use WizDLLs.

So, for now, you need the following files in order to run WizMetadataGrabber standalone on a non-GBPVR pc:
