Is there a reason why the Minute Span for the Guide (set on the Config page) uses cookies instead of a server side setting?

I can't be the only one who would prefer it not to change back to the default on every different PC / browser can I?

Actually....you would be in the minority....there was an overwhlming push to move that and many other things to cookies so that it was not server dependent.

Thanks for the quick response. Is there a config file on the server side I can manually change to change the default?

Also, how can I manually remove a failed recording? Neither of the delete buttons on the Manage Recording tabs will delete it.

No....it is maintained in the cookie.....if the cookie gets destroyed then it will use the predefined defaults to reinstantiate the cookie. If you want to change a default value you could update the web/app_code/classes/settings.cs code file......you'll just have to maintain those changes as new release of EWA come out and will overlay it.

What do you mean by neither of the delete buttons.....summary screen and detail screen that pops-up?

Have you tried both the table based screen manage.aspx and the CCS based screen manage2.aspx?

I mean the delete button in the Status column, and checking the box and using the delete button at the top of the first column.

Yes, I tried all the delete buttons on the manage2.aspx page as well.

Ok...what is the path that the recording is located? There must be something in that that it doesn't like.
