Hi sub,

just thought I'd post a wishlist for possibly separate ques based off of file types.

Maybe a setting in config.xml to enable something like that so power users can enable it if there machine can handle it?

I noticed my mpg conversions wait for a .ts conversion to complete.

I guess everything is added to one que and the .ts files hover around 10 - 15 fps converts and my mpg converts are at 50fps and I think my dual core can handle one mpg and one .ts convert at the same time.

I know there are numerous drop boxes in the processing tab for file types so I guess I thought they would have been sep ques.

hope you are well

thanks for reading this

Converting to other filetypes is often very CPU intensive, and having too much going on can interfere with other recordings taking place, so the app purposefully serialises recording transcodes to make sure machines cope. The one transcode that is happen at one time is set to run at a slight reduced priority to minimise these types of problems.

Thanks sub,

I will see if I can learn how to create a file type que batch seperator so that i can have mencoder and handbreak running at the same time.

I think Zed posted in the wiki a batch file that had a que script in it

Cheers
