The current/newest version of GBP has this entry in bda.ini:
Code:
[Anysee E30 C plus]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-C
FILTER_TUNER=anysee BDA Digital Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=anysee BDA Digital Capturer
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

To get my "Anysee E30 C plus" working, I had to change FILTER_TUNER to:
Code:
FILTER_TUNER=anysee BDA Digital Tuner(DVB-C)

Perhaps "my version" of tuner could be added to bda.ini in the future versions of GBPVR as "[Anysee E30 C plus type2]" or similar so that all Anysee users can get their tuners automatically recgonized?

If you can bump this thread in a couple of weeks (when I'm back in New Zealand), I'll do this. Thanks.

Bump...

I have a friend with this card and have been trying to help him get it working.
It has a built in Card reader but it does not seem to be recognised in GBPVR.
We have made the change suggested above and it all works fine until we start scanning for channels, it scans until it finds some chanels and then config.exe crashes...
Not quite sure what happens, we install GBPVR via NMTInstall with all patches (and the C++ runtime).
The system is a fresh installed XPPro sp2 with all updates installed and .NET Framework installed.
I attach the logs from GBPVR.

I myself have two FloppyDTV that works with CI support and he would like to have his system set up with CI support aswell.

PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport

Unfortunatly there is no standards around CI modules, so each manufacturer implements it there own way. This means I explicitly need to build in support for the various CI systems I want to work with GB-PVR. I have built in support Hauppauge WinTV-CI, Technotrend CI, FireDTV CI and Twinhan CI.

Unfortunately I dont have any Anysee devices, and no technical info about them, so its not possible for my to add CI support for this device at this stage.

OK, I understand. I am really happy with the funcionality with my FloppyDTV.

I have read a bit on the AnySee and found this input in SmartWi-forum:
Anysee is a MultiCAS reciever and do not follow the ISO 7816 standard.

So perhaps it would not work anyway?

That means that the cable version of the Anysee (E30C) can't handle encrypted MPEG2 (SDTV) and H.264/MPEG-4 AVC (HDTV) channels. With other words I can't use the Anysee (E30C not purchased yet) with GB-PVR..

[SIZE="1"]In Dutch forums I read that the Anysee DVB-C (E30C) works well now with Windows Media Center (Windows 7-32 bit) and Ziggo (largest cable company in NL).[/SIZE]

Kind of. You can of course use it for unencrypted channels. You could also use it with encrypted channels with multidec + appropriate softcam. Given its native CI isnt supported, it wouldnt be a good product choice to use with GB-PVR though.
