Cannot play any recordings

When trying to play any recordings (files exist on hd and are not zero-sized), the screen flashes black and immediately gbpvr returns to main menu. Other video files, dvd and live tv (and web admin and epg) work just fine. Recordings are made from dvb-c.

Newest gbpvr in vista 32bit, anydvd hd, powerdvd 9 and 7 installed, firefox, boxee, spotify, flash, evetghost installed on the same htpc, not much else. I have not installed any "external" codec packs such as cccp. Using default codecs/settings, only scanned channels and set directories.

Try setting values for Video and Audio decoders in the Playback tab of Config. Results are unpredictable (and usually not good) if left on default.

Try the PDVD7 decoders first ... I have read that that the PDVD9 decoders will only work with PDVD.

Changed the value of BDA multiplexer and programs recorded after the change can be played back.

PS. I set MPEG-2 video & audio decoders to PDVD9 and they seem to work just fine.
