I have had a couple of files lately that are missing the audio when played on my PCH with mvpmcx2. If I play these files with the native PCH player using the myihome server to stream the file, the audio is fine. I can also play the file locally on my computer with several different tools and the hear the audio.
The files originally started out as ts files with of QAM HD broadcasts. Using comskip and video redo, the file has been changed to a file with MPG extension. Video Redo just chops out the commericals and remuxes.
I am using the version of mvpmcx2 from august.
Could the codecs on my server have any impact on mvpmcx2's ability to play a file? I recently installed the SAF codec pack, so I don't know if that could be related to the problem.
I also have question regarding the NMT remote key for launching the PCH native player. I thought I use to use the USB-eject key for doing this. If I hit this key now, it exits the application and goes back to the PCH menu screen. Since mvpmcx2 has been playing files so well lately, I haven't used this feature in long time. Now that I am missing the audio on some files, I wanted to force the native player for these problematic files.
